The Second Biggest Polluter

With fast fashion having a catastrophic effect on our environment, many companies are participating in CSR (corporate social responsibility) to do philanthropy relating to this topic. Nike and Zara were accused of “greenwashing” which is basically lying about “advocating” and greenwashing can lead to massive PR nightmares. Fast fashion is so detrimental because of the amount of pollution such as the dye and microplastic used in the textiles. On top of this, fast fashion uses sometimes unethical labor to lower prices.
