Fast fashion is currently killing our environment. It is the second biggest polluter and needs to be more sustainable because the current system that we have (which works off overconsumption) is not working! Fast fashion uses up 93 billion metric tons of water, millions of barrels of oil, and only less than 1% of fashion is recycled. The microplastics and unethical labor are also some factors to take into consideration. We can move towards a much more healthy future with using more sustainable materials such as bamboo if we want to solve this fashion climate crisis.
